Greatness

Many people strive to be great. Many people strive to make a difference. Sometimes on the journey to greatness, on the journey to make a difference we begin to lose sight of the little things. The focus on the goal can be all consuming and we become ignorant of our surroundings and the needs of others. Sometimes greatness comes from stopping in our journey and the selfless acts of attending to the needs of others. Greatness is not achieved in the destination, but in the journey.  When the goal of greatness becomes secondary to the needs of others our labor is not in vain.
